Brian Ullman
Brian Ullman was born February 27, 1971. He is a third generation Master Carpenter, starting with rough framing and siding at the age of 12 after school and during summer vacations. By the age of 17 Tom was a framing foreman on homes up to 4500 square feet. He was the top architecture and mechanical drawing student at his high school. He finished several college level classes even before he graduated! In Tom’s family, after school, weekends and summer vacations were time for work, not video games!
By the age of 20, Tom started building trade show exhibits for large display companies in Chicago. Soon after, he was the top producer and promoted to Shop Foreman. Building complex geometric shapes including metal fabrication expanded his skills. At age 28 he started his own cabinet and millwork installation company working for some of Chicago’s largest and most expensive homes. Some of Tom’s work is even featured in Chicago Home & Garden magazine!
In 2004, Tom decided to build a custom motorcycle so he could compete in bike shows. In 2005, he won “Best in Show” at the American Iron Bike show at the Sturgis bike rally. The bike was featured on the cover of American Iron magazine. Bluff Road Choppers is the name of his current company.
“Do it right, or Go home” is his motto.
